Terms of Use
These terms govern your access to and use of the Weivo website and mobile app.
Effective date: August 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Weivo, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Weivo. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms where you live. If you use Weivo for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Weivo service
Weivo provides tools for recording weight information, viewing trends, and supporting personal habits. The mobile app can be used without an account or login. The website at https://weivo.online may provide optional Google sign-in for features such as saving information to an account and accessing it across sessions.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that every feature, platform, or stored item will always be available, so you should keep any backup you consider important.
3. Health disclaimer
Weivo is a general wellness and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment. Weight and trend information may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be used as a substitute for professional care.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional about health decisions, symptoms, pregnancy, eating disorders, medication, or significant weight changes. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
4. Accounts and security
If you choose to sign in on the website, you are responsible for keeping your Google account and device secure and for activity under your Weivo account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you believe your account or data has been accessed without permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Weivo unlawfully or violate another person's rights;
- attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security protecting Weivo, except where law expressly permits;
- introduce malware, automated scraping, or abusive traffic; or
- misrepresent your identity or use Weivo to harm, harass, or deceive anyone.
6. Your content and our rights
You retain ownership of information you enter into Weivo. You give us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that information only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and meet legal obligations.
Weivo, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Weivo as intended.
7. Third-party services
Weivo may rely on or link to third-party services, including Google sign-in and app stores. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weivo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, or that Weivo will meet every requirement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of Weivo. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using Weivo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
We may update these terms. We will post revised terms here with a new effective date. Your continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
10. General and contact
Applicable consumer protections and mandatory local laws continue to apply. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms, together with the policies linked here, form the agreement concerning Weivo.
